Greetings!

Thank you for your support and trust in the newly elected Executive Committee.
We had our BGM on March 31st, 2018 and the new office bearers for year 2018 – 2019 were elected to office. On behalf of the new EXCO, we thank all members who turned up at the BGM for your support.

New Office Inauguration
Just before the BGM, we inaugurated our new home, STGA’s own premises, at Lintas Square on the 26th March and we were honoured to have YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environment Sabah to grace the auspicious occasion.

During the opening ceremony, the Minister announced a grant of RM 10,000 for STGA. What a nice way to endorse their support for us.

 

Reflection cannot be seen in boiling water. Similarly, Solution cannot be seen with a disturbed mind. Cool down and you will find solution for your problem.

 

 

Plans for the New Term

Looking forward – STGA is working hand in hand with Sabah Tourism Board (STB).
The Sabah Tourism Board had approached us recently to support their ‘Free Guided City Walking Tour’ due to be launched very soon. Similar program already in place in Kuala Lumpur and Penang for a number of years. It is time that we play a part in assisting the Government to promote Sabah tourism at the same time to create job opportunity for our fellow guides.

In order to cater to the influx of more Chinese tourists visiting Malaysia.

To produce competent and professional quality guides to meet the demand of tourism industry.

To upgrade our tourist guides with the knowledge, skills and language proficiency by providing them with continuous training and education opportunities in order for them to deliver the professional quality service to the tourists as well as visitors.
