ANNOUNCEMENT || 18 September 2019

We would like to bring to your attention that the Malaysia Competition Commission (“the Commission”) is the regulatory authority empowered by the Competition Commission Act [Act 713] to enforce the provisions of the Competition Act [Act 712] (“the Act”). With reference to STGA’s Undertaking to the Commission, we strongly advise all members of STGA to comply with the provisions of the Act.

In the event of any complaint of infringement of the Act against any member, STGA will not hesitate to provide full cooperation with the Commission in its assessment and/or investigation.

The letter of undertaking was signed by the President of STGA, Ms SF Chin in the presence of MyCC’s Chairman, Dato’ Seri Mohd Hishamudin Yunus on 30th August 2019, at MyCC’s office in Kuala Lumpur.
