We would like to advice you that MTGC  will be conducting the 2-2019 MTGC CTRE Program Administrators and Certified Facilitators Workshop and details are as follows:

Full-day Seminar Package    (Inclusive 1 lunch, 2 tea breaks &  a copy of the CTRE MOPP)

Non Affiliates: RM280.00 (per participant)

The CTRE Manual of Policies & Procedures ( MOPP) is a document which has been officially endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture Malaysia (MoTAC) in October 2017. MTGC and its Affiliates were fully supportive of its voluntary implementation amongst ourselves as a professional standard of self-regulation

MTGC will recognise and certify participants with an official reference code for a two (2) year term.

Participants attending this Training Workshop will be updated on all procedures in the MOPP to ensure that CTRE programs organized, are done in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures endorsed by the MoTAC, and which would ensure that CTRE programs are conducted professionally and are beneficial to tourist guides.

Ethical standards and recognition of Accredited Facilitators will ensure that CTRE Programs are conducted in tandem with the training modules under MTGC’s CTRE MOPP and which would ensure that tourist guides skills & professionalism are enhanced.

These standards proposed must be supported and practised to:-

  1. Be a benchmark for our own internal audit of Training Resource Personnel who will eventually monitor  CTRE  programs at both Association and state levels, including
  2. Developing and providing knowledge and skills that would assist in our members’ successful career pathway that CTRE   programs can create for tourist guides who are keen on personal and professional advancement.
  3. Recognize the endorsement of CTRE program reports by certified CTRE program facilitators who will be issued with unique reference codes.
       
MTGC is not limiting participation as the training costs are borne by the individuals as part of their own personal investment in their future career pathway.
 
All participants attending this workshop are encouraged to bring
a) their own laptops to enhance the training and learning experience.
b) Brochures on State Tourism products to facilitate practical training during break out sessions.
